Question Ignition barrel removal?

Does anyone have any idea on how to remove the ingition barrel? Iam having trouble figuring it out. I do have the factory service manual from www.iluvmyrx7.com but iam unable to find anything on the ignition barrel. If any one could post some pics or give me a quick step by step on how to remove it that you be greatly appreciated

Thanks

There are instructions in there somewhere but I recall them being unhelpful.

Try the following:

I used this approach to remove the security screws and it worked very well.

This is probably the worst advice ever but a friend of mine had a S13 240SX in which he broke the key off in the ignition. He commissioned me to get the key out and make the lock cylinder functional once again. Having no locksmith tools, I employed a stout straight screwdriver and a BFH. I proceeded to smash away at the unit, breaking the cover off and exposing the internals. I removed the key and played with everything until I learned how to properly reassemble it. I got it all back together and crimped the cover back on the end and miraculously, It worked. Just as smooth and proper as it was when new.

Basicly TL;DR. Dont break **** cause this is an FD not a shitty S Chassis lol!
