if you saw a rotor on the road last night...

if you saw one on the road can you return it to this address please......no i'm kidding but, i was driving home memorial day night.....and i started to hear this horrible sound, when i got to the light where my friends were, it was louder and soooo bad. we stopped at a gas station and popped the hood, it sounded like a rotor was just tumbling around in the housing, i thought my motor was toast. i drove it back home about 5 minutes away, and by the time i got home it was quiet as when i first bought it, no noise, and i havent had and bad idle other than high than normal for the past couple of months, then only thing is that it was raining that day, and my belt squeal when it rains, which it was doing, but the broken rotor sound i have no idea, i was told if i blew and apex seal it would idle real bad, but it drives and runs like it did before, this morning i turned it on and it made the sound hear and there but most of the time it was quiet......and it runs like normal, any ideas?

if it is like a creaking sound then you may have a problem that i do.... i think i have a bad bearing somewhere so when i got to replace my pulleys i'm going to replace my bearings as well.

Is it possible that the moisture or vibration of the belt made the Crank Angle Sensor not read right !? And he was getting improper ignition !?
