If I buy a new reman but the owner doesnt have a receipt...is the warranty valid?

The motor is still in the crate and has the paper work to fill out and send in for the warranty. He is a repo guy and does not have the receipt.

I would say that the warranty is not valid
Companies tend to be real strict about documentation when it comes to warranty's on Rotary's. Warranty's on cars are normally not transferable and the extra/ extended warranty's are worthless.
If you do want to take a chance; get multiple forms of ID from the seller. Get everything written down and if not get a BIG discount

grimple is correct. You need to check with Mazda to see if the warranty is transferable. I'll bet it's not.
