idle/rev problem

first of all, i just did a swap, and im 90% done, i have to put a drive shaft in, i kept my auto harness, and used a manual ecu of course, and did the needed wiring adjustments to get the car started,

my problem is, a rough idle, and when i rev the car, and gets to about 3000 rpm's, it shakes bad, and sputters, and acts like it wants to cut out, and actually does, like its not gettting enough air, or gas, or spark,

im gettinga code 33 (air bypass) and a code 39 (relief 2), i have no idea what these things do together, please help!

thanks

i have not messed with the idle screw, i dont see how that would be my prob., but i will try anyway, thanks.

what is the 'rats nest'? and i talked to cover8 on how to wire it up to get it to start using the automatic harness with the manual ecu, and i figure he knows what hes talking about, thanks though, anymore ideas?

what about sparks plugs? it sat for 4 weeks without being cranked, would that be a cause?

thanks,

paul

30, 33 and 39 codes deal with your ACV...it is the large pollution control device located on the inside of the LIM (Lower Intake Manifold). This ACV device has three connections to the engine harness. To access you must remove the UIM and it is right above your injectors. To get this code one of those three wires/solenoids is disconnected or faulty.

Take an ohm meter and measure resistance on the acv solenoids. The correct resistanc will be in the manual...do not know off hand the values. This could effect your idle. Make sure when you re-install the ACV, that you use a new gasket and make sure you have proper seal.

thanks cover8, its just strange to me that this could be the ACV, bc, it worked just fine before the swap, and now, it want even rev past 4000 rpms, but i will look into it, i will recheck my fuses, can u think of anything else that i might have done or didnt do, during the swap that could be causing this? thanks
