Tried the search for the last hour but not getting anything specific so I thought I would throw out this question.

94 VR AT 43m no mods

The idle seems fine, steady in or out of gear until I turn on the AC then ...sometimes... the idle will drop and the car will die if it is in gear. Air works fine, engine temps are normal, and no abnormal noise from the compressor.
Any ideas?

Check out your ISC solenoid (idle speed control).

BTW, since you mention you are completely stock, I'll get on my soap box and tell you to get the following:

*downpipe
*aluminum AST
*boost gauge
*water temp gauge
