Is that a new PFC installation? It sounds like it is still learning ISC (Idle Speed Control). You should let it idle with no electrical loads for 10 minutes, followed by rear defroster on for 10 minutes, followed by A/C on for 10 minutes. This is the procedure in the manual for the PFC.

If you're still having issues after that, give it some time, it continues to learn. And/or visit the Power FC sub-forum and do some searching. There has been some recent discussions about this problem. I also recommend you acquire Chuck Westbrook's tuning notes. He has a lot of good info on this and other topics about the PFC and Datalogit. Contact him here: cewrx7r1@yahoo.com

its been doing this for months...i recently removed that battery for about a month or two....would the PFC loose all my previous data and need to relearn? i know the car does go into learn mode once and a while and it has distinct sound....this issue has been going on for a while, it sounds similar to learning but i dont think it is....

I believe it is supposed to NOT lose its memory when disconnected from power. I don't think there is a way to know when it really is learning or not. The whole learning aspect of it is a black box, kind of like how it ignores the maps in the idle region and stores its learned stuff in an inaccessible place where even Datalogit cannot reach it. You may need some adjustments to get the throttle body setup in correct mechanical range for the PFC. See Chuck's notes!
