Idle issue
I been searching for a little bit to see what my problem could be but the threads I keep finding the issues are bit different from mine.
My issue started in the summer. The car will stall coming to a stop. I check the dashpot and it looks fine. I also had the fans coming on too late so I changed those setting to come on at 84c. Now that is getting cooler outside, when the car is between 77c-85c on the PFC the idle dounces (like a vacuum leak) from 1000-1500 when coming to a stop but it only does it for a little bit (20 sec) then the idle settles back at 900. Could it be that I set my fan speed to low or do I need to check my clutch switch. TPS acording to the PFC is within spec.

Have you checked that the 3 mechanical settings on the throttle body are adjusted in spec?
My car did something similar once (mostly in cold weather like you) and it went away after adjusting the TB settings.

Since my PFC hasn't been tuned, I'm going to reset it this weekend and set it up according to this thread to see if I can get it to set right.
I unplugged the clutch sensor and it seems to alleviate the surging a bit (doesn't do it as long maybe 3 bounces and that's it) but it still doing it.

after doing a baseline throttlebody adjustment, F/C speeds in the commander are the next thing to try. See post #28 of that thread https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...4&postcount=28
