hi, i just bought this car, and don't know much about it. was running fine and then just started acting up. its a five speed, when i put it in gear, with would have the idel go up and down. i take it out of gear and its fine. help what do you guys think it is? i will try looking at some vaccume line and see if that is what causing this.

Check the upper clutch switch which sends a signal to the ECU.
(The lower clutch switch is only for starting.)
Test the switch to insure the circuit is being completed when you depress the clutch.

 

i will test it and let you know if its good or not.
