Idle hunts after water temp raises over 70c
topic says the problem, i have pfc and idle works fine with original ecu. I got idle working well when engine isnt warm with turning idle screws and such but when temps reach over 70c idle starts to hunt, when im in traffict lights it may settle down but then start hunting again when i press gas. i adjusted my tps also but cant get working better than this..

Try this:
Disconnect the battery. then adjust the idle bleed screw all the way in/closed. then back it out/open a half a turn. let the car sit without the battery connected for about 10 mins. then reconnect the battery and turn on the car without any accessories, or AC, or anything turned on. let it idle for about 5-10 mins like this, then turn on the rear defroster for another 5-10 mins. Then finally turn on the AC on full for another 5-10 mins. At this point it should have learned the idle. If not then go back and adjust your idle bleed screw. Make sure to make very small adjustments at a time, because the half a turn is supposed to be the recommended setting.
Also what are your idles that you have set in the PFC for your car?

well at first i did it like pfc manua says, it learns the idle and starts to idle smooth, its just when i push gas it stats to hunt.. my idle settings are pfc default, exept for water temp correction, i had to decrease numbers bit at +10 +30 and +50 cos it was idling too rich.. but it shouldnt affect the idle at normal temperature +80c. my vacuum is about 300-400 ingh and i dont think i have any vacuum leaks..

I would go into the settings area on the PFC and see what the default idle settings are cause I don't really remember. Mine are 800,900, 1000 with light mods and I have no problems with the idle. I did however have the same problem with my last FD and never was able to fix it no matter how much I messed with it, but the fact that it works fine with the stock ECU makes it seem that it's the PFC. Also since you just installed it and are using the manual, I would recommend getting someone to do a complete PFC tune or read some of the writeups on here to get it to the best tune for your car.
