Ideas wanted.

I just took care of the EGR valve since the engine code was 16. Now I take it out to drive and the check engine light comes on. It still dies when I try to get it past about 3500 rpm. So my question is what should I look at next? There are no error codes now. Could it be the TPS?

From what I've seen the car dies when the top butterflies start opening on the intake manifold. Otherwise it is completely stock at this point. I did have the injectors cleaned/balanced etc and completely redid the vac hoses making sure to double check everything. I'm going to install my boost gauge this week.
