ID a wire please

I had an engine fire and over the last year have been slowly replacing everything that was destroyed, mostly just wires. I have successfully ID'd and replaced 99% of everything damaged but one wire I cant figure out what to do with. I don't have AC, power steering, or ABS and am single turbo if that helps. It runs underneath the drivers fender and into the engine compartment in the brake booster area. Its a large black/white stripped wire. In the FSM its shows it running to the condensor as highlighted in the pic. It shows it going to sensor ground so i grounded it to the body but it pops a fuse when i do key on so i just taped the end of it up for now. It’s a large wire so it must be used to carry some of the higher end amperage in the car. I just wanted to make sure its ok to not use it since the condenser isn’t the car any more. I will post a pic of the wire below. Its right in the middle of the page and terminating to sensor ground after the condensor and I think its in the back of the FSM on page z27 it believe.

That wire is a 12V+ Ign.
Not having it connected is fine, if not running the AC. i pick up power for my boost controller there to memory.

Duval7,
That is a 12v+ wire and it attaches to the condenser (which was grounded at the ignitor before your fire) to help eleminate radio noise...i.e. the whining noise that is created by the alternator that can be heard through your speakers. You can cap it off so it doesn't ground anywhere (like when you connected it to the body!) , but you might hear a little noise in your radio as a result.
