I think im hitting fuel cut???? help diagnose please

Well. tonight i was out for a ride, i got on my car... 1st, 2nd, 3rd, then fast shifting into 4th the car fell on its face with a brrrrrrrrr. i got out of it quickly. i put back into 3rd and trying low boost manuvers and its fine. i get the car to 75 and ease into 4th again and its fine, power is right on. then an hour later im driving againg, i hit it, and this time i power shift into 3rd, and it does the same thing as 4th gear last time. i get out of it quickly drive a bit, and try boosting hard in 3rd gear again and power is normal fine once again. i think its only when shifting quickly into a higher gear. the pfc shows highest boost seen at .83 mmhg. my car is tune for 16 psi (mods below), and has all provisions for it.

first, this feels like my evo when i had bad gas and was seeing safe mode... except that was any agear all the time. this is only shifting hard into a higher gear. i didnt even think the pfc had a detonation detarant like pulling timing or fuel when something measured isnt right.

it defianatly feels like a fuel cut, but i dont know why. my injectors dont seee more than 64% duty, i dont spike past 13psi, sunoko 93 fuel, and my AFR's peak 11.1 at the leanest. my car was tuned by BDC and he is conservative with the timing. any ideas whats going on?

btw, my motor on a cold start hours later shows pulling -18 on a streetport motor and idles great (990rpms). so im pretty sure my motor is in great condition.

is this with the pfc optional boost controller? if so i dont have it. if not, im guessing its a safety switch for overboost. im niot sure what BDC set it at. but i have seen spikes to .95mmhg before, and didnt have this problem. last night it recorded a peak of .83mmhg on the commander.

No, this is a basic function on the PFC, accessible using the Commander. RTFM and report back with what it's set to.
