I really miss my FD :(

If you guys don't know, I had a beautiful 94 FD that I LOVED but I had to sell it because it was needed in that time of my life.

It's been 5 months since she's left me and although I have a new car that is very comfortable, reliable and giving me 423rwhp of fun, it still doesn't put the smile/feel of having/driving/sitting in my FD3S

The one thing I don't miss

Yeah your car was hot but i remember all your threads about your problems. Maybe your decision was best for you.

You'll get another someday. But have fun with goat power while you're at it

Enjoying the power and comfort the goat is giving me right now but the rx7 really had you and the road connected as one. Even though I have more power with the goat I miss the feelings of the turbos and how light the car was.

But it was time to sell the problems were beginning to add up but I will own another someday in the future.

I personally thought your FD was really, really gorgeous. I was actually looking into a GTO w/ LS2 as a DD/weekend racer type of car... and surprisingly it fits the bill quite nicely--for me at least. It IS pretty heavy, you have to admit. Kinda ugly and voluminous too--especially compared to your 3rd gen. They seem to be pretty common around my parts as well. Whoopie.

One day you'll be back, any true FD fanatic always is Go single turbo next time and get a good tune, I think you'd be happy then

Nothing wrong with a GTO. At least he didnt end up with a mini van or a PT Cruiser.

I don't have kids (only 21!) that I know of hah

But I had to sell the FD because #1 the turbos were starting to show signs of going out and it had just been keyed and some other problems were about to show up. I also needed something that could seat more than 2 and had a little more carrying space for work and the GTO was that without sacrificing the power that I wanted.

It was cheaper to sell the car than to go in and start fixing the problems. They key mark would probably be around $500-$750 to fix. I wanted to go single turbo but by the time I had the funds to do that, my twins would have been way gone so I had to make the sacrafice.

Kane is from Hawaii stationed over in Iraq and he saw the car over there. Contacted me and we did all the dealing. His brother from Socal came up to me, checked out the car, and drove it back to Socal and then he shipped it over to Hawaii to where Kane's wife picked up the car and now it's waiting for Kane for when he gets back from duty. Seems like a long transaction but it went very smoothly and Kane is excited to get back home. He's going to put in a single turbo and some other things so I know he'll take great care of it.

If you are only 21 you will have many cars to come in the future. And just think now you know what you want and how you want it to look so you can start from an even better place when you can afford to have a DD and a money pit.

I know what you mean though I haven't sold mine and can't even though I only driver her about a dozen times the entire year. They can be an addiction like many other things....

Get a friend who has one and let's you help out with it and take it for a spin. Just think their money pit not yours! ;-)

Thanks for the complements guys. I just hope I'll be able to find another FD just as clean as I found my other one.
