OH i need to know what you guys think

ok i just bought my FD maybe 2 months ago and a friend of my dads has offered a lage ammount of cash for it. its in the 20's and, i dont know to sell it or not. ive wanted a FD forever and i finally got one. and now this is placed infront of me, and summer is coming up and i dont want to go another summer with out a fd, i would miss the power and i would go crazy without having one, but i say to myself its a lot of money to pass up. and with it i could buy another fd in the future. but i want one local but there are rare and with mods and 99spec parts.

please help me i dont know what to do

If someone offered me that much for my FD, I'd probably sell it. I paid 16k for mine and could find another comparable FD for that or less. It would give me 4k+ for parts, repairs, upgrades etc.... I've only owned my FD for just shy of 6 months. I've learned a lot in that time and would make an even better purchase the next time.

Say no. Maybe he will counter with more money, like 30g's and then you could say yes!

Also, you could just drive it for summer and then sell it to him come November, just before winter. Then get another FD before next summer

If you love the car so much, don't do it...seems pretty simple to me. Do you need the money? What would you do with the cash?

i wouldnt sell mine for anything less than 35k but then again i would still lose money at that price so its a little different if you just bought it and dont have much in it then you might be able to make a buck and buy another one.

The price in not going to shoot up. WTF did he get that from? Did he also invest in Yahoo stock a week ago as it was going to shoot up as soon as Microsoft bought it?

Sell it as there are lots of clean FDs for sale here on the forum, you can easily buy another one.
