i started my car had it running for about 5 mins turned it off then it just wouldn't start back i called the electrician and he came and tested the spark and told me that the igniter is bad..................i want to know if there is another igniter that i can wire into the system as i'm not able to get the original rx7 igniter??

 

Yeah, there are aftermarket ignitors. FC1000 by Jacobs, then there are all the MSD variations.. You can even use an s4/s5 system, things just take a little modifying.

You can pick up a used FD ignitor here on the forum for like 30 bucks.

 

i looked in the clasifieds last night didn't see any there do u have any??i have a TZ71 made for audi and vw it has 7 wires just like the original mazda igniter should that work??
