so i pulled off my clutch today and HOLY CRAP! my flywheel had 1 inch cracks all the way around and looked kinda warped, same went for the pressure plate but not as bad. the clutch wasn't too bad but is worn unevenly.

so, i need a new clutch, and flywheel.

my cars power when i go with a single turbo will be close to 350-450RWHP.
my FD is strictly a street car, it hasn't and won't be touching the track any time soon. my price limit is about $500 - $600.

any opinions?

 

some vendors on here have ACT clutch kits and flywheels on sale... I just ordered that set and plan on making the same power levels as you on my DD. It should hold that kind of power from what I have been reading. you're looking at ~$800 with that though..

 

A used ACT Xtreme Pressure plate with a street disc. It'll hold up to 450ft/lbs torque.

 

I think you need to increase your limit.....
I have been researching clutches for my sons rebuild and clutch sets alone go for $600. And you still need a flywheel which is another $400-$500 in cost...

if you want a stock flywheel i have one that came off of a reman. I used it for a couple hundred miles before putting in my ORC. You can have it for $20 + shipping.
