Question I need Advice on buying a 3ed gen

I am looking to buy a R1 CYM and am just wondering what I should look for engine wise, should I get a stock one or ones with mods??? Yes I know its hard to find a CYM but i willing to hold out to get my hands on one of those rare cars.

Thanks

Clark

Whatever you want. Have a mechanic look at the condition of the engine by checking the compression, hoses, battery, gaskets and fluids. Ask the owner for receipts to services performed to get an idea on how well the owner has taken care of the car. Look around at other RX-7's to get an idea of what to compare this one to others. Perform a Carfax to see if there have been any history records of wrecks or flooding. If you want to have the 7 your way get one stock. Good luck!

Best advice is to find one that was well maintained, and completely taken care of. Either buy a lower mileage original, or a higher mileage car with a rebuilt motor and/or turbos
