I just got my first FD and its sweet!

Hey everyone,
I have been around the forum for a couple months now but today I have gotten the FD of my dreams! Its a 93' Silver w/ red interior touring model, it has 34,000 miles, and is in absolutly perfect condition! I couldn't find a single thing wrong with it! Soon I will begin to modify and do the first reliability mods. Thanks for all the info you guys provided in what to look for in a used FD. I'll be around the board studying up.

P.S. I would like to change my User name now since i dont drive a turbo integra anymore. Anyone know how ?

Good Choice, I passed up a 94 White/black Base model to buy my 93 Silver/Red Leather Touring

First thing to do is Get some LEXOL leather cleaner and Conditioner and Clean & Condition the leather - The Red leather is RARE. I couldn't believe how much dirt came out of my leather and how much better it looked after a good scrubbing and conditioning. Amazingly it was also much Grippier after also.

Does your car have Red door panels also? and/or Red Carpet? The later Red Leather option cars only had red seats, carpet and Headliner w/ black door panels.
The Red Leather option was discontinued all together in mid 94

Mine has Red doors but Black Carpet.

Nice choice, I have the same color too. But my leather started cracking so I had my interior redone to all black. Do you mind me asking how much you paid for your FD?

Thumbs up Sweet!

That's pretty low miles. You gotta let us know how much you stole it for
The red leather sounds like a real choice option - I haven't seen one in person yet.

I just got my silver/black 93 Touring and I love it too! Personally, I think silver is the absolute best color on the FD.

Enjoy!

Sounds about right. I paid about 18k for a bone stock '93 touring silver/black with 19k miles, although it did have a few dings and one of the front quarter panels had been replaced (otherwise, paint and interior were excellent - no peeling). Having a blank bill of sale did sweeten the deal for me however
