i have some questions about rx7's b/c i am interested in buying one...please help

please dont flame me, i have some questions you probably think are dumb but hopefully i can get some answers......................
1. Rotary Engine??? good or bad, what is the average life span in terms of miles
2. what is the stock hp and stock quarter mile time for a rx7 tt??
3. Boost? How do you adjust it, is there a button you push or do you have to buy something to adjust the boost? What is safe boost psi without getting technical with the internals?
4. Mods? what kind of quarter mile times would i be looking at with a intercooler upgrade, full exhaust, new bovs, plugs n wires?
what mods get the most value for the best value?

I thank you for any help you all can give me and as i said earlier please dont flame me because i dont no really a damn thing about the cars? all i know as that i like the looks and i look at the quarter mile numbers and they are damn impressive with not a lot of mods, i am very interested in buying a rx7 tt all inoput would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time

RX7

The 3rd generation is a beautiful car and there is much more to it than a 1/4 mile car. Have you ever driven one? I consider it an exotic so I am willing to accept the mechanical attention the car requires. You will learn of these when you do a search. I love the stares I get when driving it and I have to attend a RX7 specific function to see another one. Everyday I get asked what it is, etc.

Be prepared to work on it often. And be ready to get quizzed on it.
