im actually a new owner of a 93 rx7 and i had a quick question. does anybody know how to take out the window motor?? i got a new one cause the one i had on the car wasnt working. but the problem is...the window is down. so idk how to take the old one out. anybody know? thanks.

 

Do you even have a FSM? You can download a PDF of one for free from the stickied thread if you don't.

 

Never done it on an RX-7, but done plenty of motors/regulators on BMW's. Separate the glass from the regulator and lift it up. On a BMW it has slides the pop in and out of the regulator. Then you could get the glass out of the way to change the motor.

 

Have you already checked the switch?
Often a little spray contact cleaner will fix it.

but the window is rolled down and the screw is all the way at the bottom so there's no way i can remove the window....

 

anybody know?
