I also did UPS in college. If you worked there, you would also say that packing was "NOT" good enough. You have "1" second per box!!! ...to look at the zip code and throw it, yes I said through it. Within that one second, you decide if it's heavy or light and check the zip code and "throw it".

When they are behind, you are expected to do "3" boxes per second and I gaurantee, heavy boxes will get thrown on top and stepped on!

The pretty girls got to tape up or clean up all the destroyed boxes. The ugly ones had to work just like the boys.

If you can picture an Octopuss flipping burgers, that's how your packages are handled.

Ah man - glad I am not doing that job anymore...

Like I said earlier (and GoRacer confirms) Make sure you pack your stuff really good...

The actuator bracket even got bent...

I don't know if anyone has noticed that the nipple on the turbo is also bent.

Because its twin turbo for 3rd Gen.
And I forgot to ask this:

Can I use it?

It looks to me like there are a few things that contributed to your dillema. First, it looks like they had someone else pack the turbos(Mailboxes Etc.). Mailboxes Etc. doesn't know their *** from their elbow about turbos, and how fragile they are. Second, turbos are heavy, and they used a thin wall box. Third, they probably didn't put enough packing in there. If there was enough packing, even though the box was thin, the packing would have helped to hold the box in shape. Fourth, as stated by someone before, the turbos should have been packaged better( a seperate smaller box to put in the bigger box).
I ship extremely expensive musical instruments all over the world every day. I've done so for eleven years. Every company ***** up once in a while. I've had UPS screw up really badly, and then not even want to cover the claim. Fed Ex has screwed up as well from time to time.
I wouldn't necessarily blaim the shipping company, but in your position, that's who you would go after to maybe get your money. If you file a claim, Fed Ex will ask you to keep the box and it's packing intact, and then come to inspect it, to deem it packed appropriately.
I'm sorry man. That's everyone's worst nightmare.
Good luck. email me if you have any questions that you think I can help you with.
