I've done it at least 3 times with my car. It sits broken and disheveled. I get the guts to think about selling it. Then out of nowhere, i buy a knick knack or just man up and sink money into its repair.

This time, there isnt functionally anything wrong with my car. It drives beautifully. I just got bored with it. I won two sets of tires at an Indy 500 event. 275s and 285s if anyone needs rear tires i have plenty lol.

I then reasoned that i needed rims for the free tires. Who wants to waste free tires?! But, the rims would look stupid without the car lowered. So i bought Tein Flex coilovers. I didnt want the stock front bumper sitting high off the ground if the car is lowered so i bought Shine auto body parts.

And here i am.

Anyone else run into this vicious cycle?

I just spend over 1k on new racing clutch, light weight flywheel, counterweight and pressure plate. Car still drives but it slips a bit in 3rd.

Also I bought a new 99 Spec Spoiler for my last rx7, put it on and then sold it.

FD's aren't very common Anywhere, but atleast down here I've seen very few . and I get asked howmuch I'd sell my car for.. I dont think anyone would pay enough to get it off my hands ... the more I fix things on it the more inlove I fall with it .

Well said. I have such love for the car, but it surges when I tinker.

You're not the only one. I got new diff bushings and trailing link bushings for my birthday. So I bought new pillow ***** to go with it. And I'm looking at tein flex coilovers cause I might as well knock out all the suspension stuff while I'm down there. :p
