I TOOK IT OFF TOO AND BROKE ON OF THEM TOO. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT OFF AND I CLUED IT BACK WITH ONE OF THE CLUE THAT YOU NEED TO MIX THE BLK AND WHITE COLOR PASTES TOGETHER AND LEFT IT OVER NIGHT. AFTER PUTTING EVERYTHING BACK ( I NUMBERED THEM) AND IT WORKED. MY CAR IS DRIVING FINE.

Just cut it off & replace it . There are also two smaller hoses on the bottom rear side of the manifold, did you get those along with the three electrical connectors back there?

Other things at the rear that needs removing if you haven't already done so: Throttle body coolant line (IN)
Map sensor hose
Small hose running to roundish actuator thingy on throttle body
(sorry my manual's outside in the car right now, can't recall the
proper name)
Coolant hose running from bottom of throttle body (OUT)

If it were me, I'd just replace the check valve with an original from Mazda. I think they're like $20.

word of advice, be vary careful with all the hoses attachted to plastic nipples. everything is easy to break. use an xacto knife to slice the hose and dont try tosnap anything off. ive alraedy broke four solenoids. good luck, brad
