I don't think I have said I've been building RX7's for 7 years....I have built 7 RX7's, but have only been playing with rotary cars for 3-4 years.

I am not sure what "building" really entails, could you enlighten me some....I have done everything from wiring up full stand alones, pulling motors, installing motors, changing tubo setups, exhaust systems, polishing, running all fuel system related parts, sumping tanks, working AN line, changing clutches, rerouting all vacuum hoses, removing accessories, modifying exteriors, tuning suspensions, installing all suspension related parts, etc....

Now maybe I don't build my motors, because, well, I like to have others build the motors to make sure it is done right, and I also don't paint my own cars....I have a paint man paint my cars...but if you could please let me know what is involved in "building" an RX7 so I can get right on that. Sorry, I am not one of the RX7 people that love to leave them looking stock, sure they look good stock, I just prefer a different look.

I assume you are referencing to this car as the tasteless body kitted car, which i s fine, believe what you want to believe. Or maybe it was my last FD that your friend bought from me....here's a pic of that one, maybe it was the tasteless one you are referring to, I dunno.

I don't think the bumper fits bad at all.....if anything it is the Scoot hood...but overall, using FEED fenders, Scoot Hood, C-west lights, and an RE-A bumper, I personally thought it fit pretty good for nothing up front being stock.

Considering what the car used to look like.

I think he did a good job bringing it back to life.

^ wow, I totally forgot that it was that car before. I personally love white FDs so I'm completely biased to what they look like. I don't "hate" the front bumper, but I just think there are after market front ends on FDs then that one. But then again, the rest of the car sure makes up for it. Hey, it also looks like you couldn't make up your mind on what color to get your GT-Cs?! You went with gunmetal and silver I see

I was wondering that too.

Nice car. Very clean.

How the hell do you afford to go through that many FDs?

The wheels are Gunmetal w/ polished lip.....no silver or different colors. All the same wheel color/style. Where are you guys seeing two different colors? Is it the lighting or the photoshop work that the photographer did for contrast, saturation, etc..?

Very nice. How exactly did you go about removing the AST? (which lines were plugged, bypassed, welded, etc...), and do you still have the coolant line going to the throttle body?

You just need to buy a Radiator cap setup from an FC....it has a nipple on the cap, run a line from that new nipple to the bottom of the radiator and then run a line from the stock nipple on the water pump neck to the overflow tank. Costs about $25 for the FC cap.

I still have the TB coolant line running on this car....but on most of my FD's it is deleted.

Must be the photoshop work cause I see what they are talking about, in the last couple of images where you can see the wheels they look almost dark blueish.

Yeah....this is/was her....it had alot of stuff on that car that I loved and then some things that I could hardly see beyond, ie: body, paint, wheels, interior, etc...but for the price, I couldn't say no, even though it has cost me a fortune to transform the car from what it was to what it is. I am happy with how she came out....sad part is that I am selling her now to pay off some debts, and get some savings ready for a move/business venture....but if she doesn't sell, then I plan on getting a few more things for her before calling it good. She is through my Phase I transformation that I had planned.....who knows if I will move on to Phase II. Thanks for the compliments on the car, I am very happy with her so far....and it can only get better.

Didn't really read through the thread, but in regards to the car it's clean. I like everything except the wheels (just not for me). I was under the impression FD's looked bad wingless, but those pics changed my mind...

Oh WOW, Thank you for saving that car!! It was so ugly in it's black/yellow combo with yellow interior. I also love white FD's. Great work.

18x9 f +42mm
18x10 r +37mm

The fenders are FEED widebody fenders....I think +30mm oversized.

Here are some new pics from a different photographer with a different style.
