No rotary tuner around

I won't let someone tune my car and blow the $5k engine...

you can get a pfc and a datalogit and do it yourself. it is actually quite simple...baby steps...take readings...drive around...get readings....stop...take fuel out bit by bit..add fuel bit by bit....go take more readings...add fuel take fuel....more readings..more boost...do it again.

simple.

til you get that...and an IC (yer killin yerself with that stock POS) then you wont notice the difference you are seeking. the IC will definitely help you. trust me.

Tuning fuel isn't a problem. But there is also ignition and the difference between leading and trailing... Care to explain that also ?

IC will be installed during winter when I put my Rex off for 5months or so.
I may get PFC in the meantime, but I think you also need the WB02 to take AF readings (so you can decide whether to add or take out some fuel), no ?

Hehe, that's the same thing. Instead of relying on the "butt dyno" of the car feeling faster you want to see higher numbers.

What happens if you go back and you still don't get HP numbers you "think" you should have?

IMO, don't put the car on a dyno unless you have a programmable ECU that you are tuning. Otherwise, you are just opening a can of worms that you probably never wanted to know.
