I am installing my Alpine today, not sure which wires are used from the Mazda harness to operate the antenna. Anyone know the color? Also any specific way to wire them up? Can I just wire it to my antenna lead wire from the head unit? I am going to just use the one antenna, not the window one. I did a search, read lots of stuff, none answered this. TIA

 

Well for anyone viewing this via search function in the future. It is the light green wire with a orange stripe. Just connect your blue antenna lead to it (or amp lead if you dont have an antenna lead) and it will work fine. My Alpine 9805 retracts the antenna when a CD is played. HTH.
