How to wire 99 spec amber bumper light to running light?

I have a CWest bumper with 99 spec combo lights in it.

The inner clear lights come on when the stalk is on the parking lights stop. The outer amber lights only work when the turn signal is being used.

I want to wire it so that the amber outside lights are on all the time when I have the stalk set to parking lights, but I still want them to blink as turn signals when the turn signal is used.

Any insight?

Normally that is done with a two filament bulb which would require jury rigging a new socket. Another approach (no experience) would be to connect both circuits but insert diode in each to prevent current back flow. Still, don’t know what happens in the flash stage, whether the bulb gets extra bright or just remains the same (you have added two sources of 12VDC but, I don’t see that they are additive). Alternative would be to work up some relay system to cut power “off” to the light when flashed with parking lights on but flash power ”on” when parking lights off. See why auto manuf. Use two filament bulbs.

I did this, to my '99 lights, get a tail light harness that is 2 filament bulb, dont remember how i hooked it up. i"ll post pics later of the harness where i jumped wires. The turn signals still work and get brighter just in case. really simple to do just 10 minutes to do both sides.

The dual filament thing sounds like a perfect idea. I need to find a socket though, that has easily manageable wires out the back of it.

The dual filament bulb is easy to find... I'm having a hard time finding the socket that doesn't ground on a frame... one that has both wires out the back of the socket... any help?

Is it an RX7 tail light socket/harness you were refering to?
