How to remove rear emblem?

Somebody stole my rear emblem, obviously they figured out how to get it off but who know how complete it was when they walked away with it.
Well a friend is going to put the Efini badges on his FD so told me I can have the rear badge. We spent a few minutes trying to get it off. We have the glue separated but it is still attached like the alignment pins have a clip on the back or something. Removing the interior pieces in back didnt get us access to much of everything. How do I get it the rest of the way off?
thanks

I would just break the small tabs off. You can attach the new one with 3m adhesive.
Its been holding on mine that way for two years now.

Sorry to double post. The only other way is to take the rear bumper off.

Agreed, break the pins. It's not worth the hassle of removing the hatch panels to remove the rear bumper.

3M double-backed tape is probably your best bet.

My rear badge just fell off from old age... I know nobody stole it because my car is garaged and I had noticed it getting loose but I forgot to fix it and it just fell off.

Anyhow, I got a new one and it didn't have any sort of clips onthe back.. just straight pins with maybe a dab of glue on them. That's what I bet is holding up your removal.

Thanks, I will pry harder and hope that either the pins break or the dab of glue or whatever it is gives way.
