CA how to remove plastic intercooler duct?

So I've pulled off my intercooler but now I'm wondering how to remove the big plastic piece it's sitting on. It's got that A/C thing sitting in it like a cupholder and doesn't look too moveable.

Also, what should be done to this piece to make it more useful as a duct for a Greddy SMIC?

There's only 2 ways to get it out:

A. Remove the A/C lines on the dryer in order to slide it out. And then have to recharge the A/C system

B. Cut the plastic around the A/C dryer

I went with option B

You can bend the AC drier upward until you can release the duct. Just don't bend the AC lines any farther than you need to and don't kink them.

I cut mine several years ago. There have been no negative effects from doing this. Only cut away as much as you need to.

I too bent mine out of the way. Just know that bending these lines back and forth over and over will cause the lines to fatigue over time. Only bend it slightly and try not to kink the lines

Yes. Unbolt the two 10mm bolts and rotate the open end of the duct counter clockwise while CAREFULLY moving the dryer canister A LITTLE to help clear everything. No need to undo the AC lines.
