how to remove old stereo?

ok i managed to get all the plastic coverings off like the a/c cluster so i can get to the old stereo. the problem is that i just cant get it out. are there screws or something that is holding it in place? it feels like its being held on by something in the back of the head unit but i cant figure it out. please help. thanks.

I believe you need a removal tool - basically two bent coat hangers that slide in on each side and release the stereo. Do a search - I know it's been covered before.

Even with the keys, I had trouble removing mine. Don't be afraid to pull hard. There are pegs that support the stereo in the back that sometimes get stuck.
