How to remove hatch glass?

Since I am going to paint the car soon I just wanted to know how to remove the hatch glass. I saw someone else did it when painting their car, is it hard to do?

Pull the weather stripping off. Remove the three 10mm nuts on the inside of the glass. Then you will need a long sinny blade to cut through the selant between the glass and the hatch. That is the hard part.

Nothing is easy with these cars. Will I need new weather stripping?

It'll all be worth it once I have my fresh colors!

Everytime I've pulled mine out, I've had a glassman come pull it out. I watched my friend try it once and he shattered his glass. My glass guy charges $50 to remove and re-install with new rubber trim (Universal).

It is a pain in the ***. For $50 you might be better off letting someone else do it.
