how much you think i could get??

whats up guys, i know i have seen people post this before, but i was just wondering how much you think i could get for my car. i got it a year ago with 18k miles on the car and engine. it now has 40k. outside paint is pretty good, and it still runs strong.....i still live with my parents, and i wanna move out, and if i sold this car and paid it off, it would make things a little easier....here are some pics of it.....now it has a triple pod pillar, with reverse guages, and a DP and a 3" cat back......here we are.....

i saw this same car on ebay 2 months ago for 12g's the Phone number was not the right number and the car was posted form califronia. the carfax report does not match. thats what i saw. i went to try to talk to the person that owned the car and could not be reached no matter what i did. the way it sounds to me i would not spend 10g's for it.

Why would he do that, hes selling it, not buying it. That kind of stuff is up to the buyer to have done. As far as price goes, I say you could probably get 15 but its going to be quite a wait. You will have to find a well funded buyer, considering most banks will not lone on these cars, let alone on one priced over book. I got fifteen for my about two years ago, it had more miles but was silver and had a motor with only 20k on it. The miles are great though and the car looks really nice, I would try 15 and lower it if you get no bites.

The people scamming those cars take the pics off of car domain and pretend to sell the car for a crazy price. They keep your deposit and you get nothing in return. I'm sure it has nothing to do with this guy though. The same thing happend to the guy that owns MZM Racing here in Austin. They were selling his single turbo FD with Fikse FM5's for 6k. What a crock.

Sounds about right. You'd be closer to selling for $16K, high 16s than $18K though.

And BTW, lose the blue dash gauges.

if it still had 18k mi on it, i'd say theres a possibility of getting $18k-20k, especially seeing as how its near stock (usually desirable by most people)

At 40k-50k mi, a lot of parts are and will start failing, meaning a lot of maintenance work. A lot of the sensors, probably tires, vac hose, etc etc will have to be changed

i agree, 16k-17k would probably be your best bet. One thing for sure though, you have to be very patient when you sell such a nice car in such great condition. Good luck on your sale, be smart about the actual transaction when it takes place.
