Why is there a doormat on the floor?

Looks like an R1. If it looks/runs perfect and puts out a good compression test I'd go as high as $18k. BB is like $15.5.

5 years ago I paid $25,000 (US) for a 93 FD Touring model that had 12,874 on the odometer.

What is the asking price?

Holy ****. I'm glad FDs are still valued that high but it seems insane to me. Even not being used, how well does rubber and plastic hold up over 13 years? Was it at least started regularly? Was an additive used to help the gas in the tank last?

I just noticed this is Singapore. Are they more rare there?

Based on some selling prices on ebay I would say around 20K. On cars.com the asking prices for that car and similar ones are all over 25K. I got my 94 with 33000 miles for 18K. As you said you need to factor in getting the car to Cali

There is no sense getting a beautiful car like that and then bringing it to college. The car will get trashed in the public parking lots. Wait until you're out of school and have a garage. You'll be less likely to crash it after you graduate, too

getting the car to its destination IS NOT the sellers problem!! Seller doesn't reduce their price to help someone get the car to the buyer!

Good condition FD's are becoming rare as well as finding "the perfect combination" of colors. I'm not a fan of Tan, but you aren't starring at the inside when you are driving. Is black interior worth $10k more?

you generalize too much, im just saying that money isnt a big problem, i never said i was gonna spend 20 grand making it go as fast it it can, if it was for driving irresponsibly i would've gladly plonked down the 28k+ lupe wanted for his FD, but i didnt becausei know i wouldn't be able to handle it

get out of my thread

Guys.

It's his money. If he wants to buy a RX-7, state your case (i.e. not a good idea during college and why) and then let it go. Ultimately, it's up to him.
