It's a sports car. No matter what sports car you purchase, maintanance is very important.

It all depends on how you treat the car. You treat it like crap, then yes, you'll be under the hood more than on the road.

It's a pure sports car so there isn't much room for error. If something isn't working right, you don't keep driving it until you get around to fixing it or you risk tearing up the car even more.

GEE WILLICKERS guys! man...lol...talk about avoiding a question. In general, would it have a lotta maintence from speedin and stuff, compared to a WRX? And what are the average miles on this thing before everything starts falling apart? Thanks for the quick response again...

It's not like the English Motors Jaguar XJ6, where it spends more time in the shop than you do in it, but it definitely requires much more special attention than most sports cars just as old. These repairs are also far more expensive. If you *** performance mods your car, not only will it be more expensive to service, but less people can service them and you can expect more problems more frequently. However, if you do all of the reliability mods, keep it under the red line, and regilously keep up the preventative maintainence, then the car will need MUCH less shop time and be cheaper to maintain than most other sports cars. A question like you are asking is like, "How long will this lollypop last?" or "How long will these running shoes last?" The misleading part of an FD is it's initial price. It's cost is far more than that. To give you a one word answer is difficult at best. Judging by your posts I would answer "YES" this going to be a very expensive car for someone like you.

In general you must maintain it more than other cars.
