ArinX yeah I think you can find one for 14-16k with a new motor, but it will depend on what kind of shape you want, how many miles are on the body, etc. Check out the rx7s for sale section.

$11,000. New motor, some plastic broken, missing on the interior. Needed exhaust, tires, brakes. Pretty good shape otherwise. Found motivated seller on Autotrader.

I gave $7,500 for my Black '93 R1 with 79K. I know the original owner and he babied the car, gave it to me with brand new tires, all fluids changed and a year left on an extended warranty. Interior and exterior are almost perfect and it runs great. Right place at the right time, ended up w/ my dream car

Good luck!

Paid $17,500 last May for a 94 PEP with 41,000 miles. Car is perfect with the exception of a couple of minor paint issues. It came with a few very mice mods and I've put about $800 worth of reliability mods on so far. It's a daily driver and I've driven about 3,000 miles since May. I'm projecting my ownership costs out over the next 15 years with an average cost of $.50 per mile. I suspect that will be a record but I'm committed to doing most of the work myself. This is not a car for a middle class college kid - most of the guys here are running $2 or more per mile - if they can keep the car on the road.

I paid $16.5k for my 93 VR touring auto in excellent shape. Motor had 12k on rebuild and blew at 18k. I have know invested around $10k IMO into the best reliabilty mod (check sig).

I just bought my FD a month ago for 10,500. 300 miles on motor, turbos, and clutch with a full catback. She had a massive exhaust leak but I fixed her and she's running perfectly now. I have about $200 in her.
