How much can you make from a RHD/JDM part out?

Lets say I have a 1993 RX7 Type-r Silver with backseats for part out... what do you think I could get in total? Thanks for your advice!

Take a look on mazdarotaryclub.com - FD's are being parted out all the time on there. Also the prices will be more accurate than you will get from a primarily US forum. As the prices in the EU are pretty different.

This is a tough question...

But if you have time, storage space, etc. People usually say you'll make more money parting out than selling the car as whole.

Personally, sometimes you need to look at what your time is worth.. as packing, disassembling, etc take more time than you think. Also, a lot of stock parts are worthless these days.

either simply by age, or because of wear and tear, this is almost always true

Having done this a couple of times, It all depends on what mods you have. .I.e PFC, FMIC etc. Is the engine good, standard or ported. A standard car with a good engine will make more money complete or even with a blown engine, It would make more than parting it out. . A car with high spec mods (Depending how many)

Will sometimes make more money parted out. This depends on bodywork, And interiour condition. And the amout of mods on the car. Rix

Yeah I posted this because I was really upset because I thought/think it was an apex seal... will actually work on it today. Pretty sure it's a clogged cat, bad plugs, and/or vacuum leak because I put an intake on it the night before and reset the battery... so could be that too. It's not running like any of the 7's i've seen on youtube/streetfire with blow apex seals. Anyways it's a 1992 type-r with 78000kms on the clock and im the second owner. Auction grade 4 interior grade b and in silver. You can see pics of it if you search posts by me.

Thanks for all the input though!
