I believe in protecting my hearing, it used to be "macho" to not care, but such people are just stupid....my dad never cared about his hearing at my age either....now he wears ugly hearing aids, and he still can't hear well at all

when I get on the gas WFO my car is pretty loud....I run a full exhaust with a Pettit cat-back (straight through design)

once you get used to them you never go back, the car just sounds better and much less irritating

You drive an RX7 not the ******* space shuttle. Granted you have a very nice car, but come on...headsets?

Yeah, headsets. Nothing too clunky, but I don't think you realize the noise level from the car. It will seriously damage your hearing over any exposure period of time.

When I drove the car to my buddies house 35 minutes away, my ears were ringing. It felt like I had water in them. My windows are tinted dark anyways, and I think a nice expensive set of low-profile leather (behind the head) set would be ok.
