How many digits are in the Odometer?

I did a carfax on a car that I'm interested in, it had an EML, Exceeds Mechanical Limits, meaning it hit 99,999k miles and rolled over back to 1. Is this possible in a 93 RX?

I think you can hit at least 999k miles in a FD. So you dont have to worry about it rolling back to 1.
