how to loose the clutch release cylinder?
it's at the top of the starter, but I think it needs some tool that can change angle to get in there to release it? I can get in there and there's not enough space to move it.
and why you need loose it to remove the tranny? on the manual, it says loose the bolts and secure it again, so just remove the cylinder?

Yellow Dragon is no more
ah ... you need to remove the two bolts in it. (12 mm socket) and then remove the one bolt (10 mm quick wrech or socket) that holds the hard line to the motor .... follow the hard line from the slave cylindar till you find where it bolts to the motor and then remove that bolt. This will allow enough slack in the line to free the slave from the transmission tunnel.

you have to disconnect the slave when you take the transmission out. You can either loose the line (not recommanded) or unbolt the slave actuator. Its not hard to remove it.
