Why are you going with Viton? Do you like throwing money away? There is info on the Robinette site about how much you need (IIRC, you are buying way too much). You don't need clamps. Buy some small zip ties (you'll only need like 5 or 10) to zip tie the fittings that actually have flared ends. For the others you can use silicone sealant, although I think the 3.5mm hose I bought from Hose Techniques fit tight enough that no silicone was needed.

I got the hose techniques kit from the Rx-7 store, and im installing them now. Broke 2 nipples before I even really started. But it seems like the insides of the hose techniques hoses are smaller then the stock ones.....will this effect anything?

The only thing it will affect is that they won't pop off under boost. You probably know this now, but you have to be REALLY careful with those nipples. Have you read up on the techniques for removing the old hoses?

OK, this project intimidated me and I actually paid approximately $500 for this ...which I extremely regret! I had it done at RR&R (local race shop) and basically they just copied one hose at a time. Well the first reman from the dealer hooked hte hoses up wrong and now i'm fixing it myself (double throttle backwards). The hose they used was "****"! The crap split, ckracked, holes in it, and kinked. I think they used McDonald straws (*******). Oh, how would you like to pay for this? oh, i'll just bend over, thank you. So I bought 5' of silicone from Baker and redid what was necessary. I think just the rast's nest can be done with 10' but get 15' of 4mm just to be shure and there's other ones you can replace to. Why in the heckle you need 50' is beyond me. If I had time i'd get the durablue but if I wanted to do the whole damn engine then I might consider Hose Technics. I don't see a problem with oil and fuel, unless you have a leak.

Only do this during an engine rebuild or if you do it yourself. It's not worth paying for seperately! Half of the time is getting the manifold and stuff out of the way and putting them back.

I did mine in about 6 hours from start to finish because there are a few hoses under the rats nest you need to unbolt to get to. I got the silicone lines from a speed shop here in Tucson for $3 a foot and used about 15 foot of 3.5, might have used a little more with waste.

I have seen no crack, rips or leaks in the month I have completed. If the hose works well, I will post the type and bulk price.
