How to identify a factory P/S rack?

Ok so I think I know why both of my inner tie rod boots are in excellent condition... It looks like my P/S rack may have been replaced already by a previous owner.

The brand of my rack says "Koyo" and the same name is on the boots too. Does this mean my P/S rack has already been replaced or do FD's come from the factory with Koyo P/S racks?

There are a lot of companies that are OE suppliers.....

Koyo and Nippon Denso are the most common OE japan suppliers, so the PO more than likely has replaced the rack with an OE replacement.

We no longer have an FD as of right now, so i cant recall if its a stock for stock replacement... my dads FD was bought brand new in 94 right off the lot
