How hard is it to relocate a/c?

How hard is it to relocate a/c?
I want to relocate the a/c controls to the glovebox so I can mount two guages there. I've seen it done but I want to know how much work is involved in moving the controls into the glovebox. I'm not a big fan of the pillar and think the guages look alot cleaner there. Nick
