how hard is it to install 944 intercooler in FD

How hard is it to install a 944 intercooler into an FD. Im thinking of buying one of these intercoolers, and would like to know how much fabrication needs to be done. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was considering this since the ic's are pretty big and cheap but I believe it will take more effort than you think from what I've read.

now that I have more time to reply, albeit still briefly, you have to completely fabricate a duct for it out of either fiberglass or CF. It's pointless to have it just sit there. You have to relocate the battery as well.

Also, the core is WAY too thick for air to flow well. You'd have to put a fan on one side pulling or pushing air through. Do a search for the write-up.

You'll spend $300+ on the IC, and then a **** ton of hours fabbing the stuff.

I'm selling a PFS SMIC for $700 with duct. You should look into this one or a similar SMIC that will take an hour to install as opposed to 40.
