How Good Is The Digital Super Afc

Does anyone know how good the digital S-AFC from Apexi is on an FD? What about using that in conjunction with the AVC-R? The reason I'm asking is because I want to get them because they look cool. My friend is using the V-AFC and rev/speed meter in his s2000 and he said they made a world of a difference...

Personnaly, I use it and find it is easy to adjust a/f ratio with it. It's also great for finding the peak stuff like rpm, throttle% and boost. It also looks nice at night. Its also pretty easy to install.

The AVC-R still can't change your ignition or data log as much stuff as the PowerFC but you can find your injector duty cycle with it and control your boost.

Its true that you can't adjust boost and ignition with it like the with the PowerFC but its also 1/4 the price of the PowerFC. I found that I am able to use a manual boost controller in order to control boost and a digital auto meter to find my injector duty cycle. I tune all that on a Dyno and my car seems to run fine. I do run stock boost though and am usually finding that I must turn down my a/f ratio about 10% across the board in order to get anywere near 11:1-11.5:1 a/f ratio (I'm running way too rich!).

good luck
