How To Fix Vibration in Headlights?
I recently hit a deer in my '93 Touring. It was 5:50 am in the dark so my headlights were "up" and the deer took out the drivers side light - the whole thing. State Farm has furnished a new front bumper and drivers side fender, repaired the hood, new oil cooler, and new driver's side headlight unit, the whole thing. At night it seems to vibrate and flicker / shimmer. When it's "up" you can wiggle it about 1/4 to 1/2 inch up and down and that's where the flickering is coming from. It must drive oncoming drivers crazy!
Is there an adjustment for this?
I'm also wondering if the little motor that does the lights up and down might have some hidden internal damage, like maybe it is loose or bent or wobbling somehow and is causing / allowing the light unit itself to move around?
What do y'all think?
Thanks!

Use a philips screwdriver & remove the 4 screws holding the black trim around the headlight lens. Look below the lamp & you'll see a screw-like thing in the middle of a bracket with alittle piece of rubber on the end. It's tightened onto the bracket with a 10mm nut. Loosen the nut & use a flat end screwdriver to adjust the length of the screw-thing so it contacts another piece of metal which holds the whole headlight assembly tight. Tighten the nut.
