How to find a crazy paint color to match?

I need some touch up paint, as my old paint is now like water. How can you match a crazy paint color? It doesn't need to be perfect but at least close.

Go to a body/paint shop that can mix paint.

I used to be a car painter waaaay back when, I matched weird colors all day long. They probably told you that because they didn't want to waste their time on a tiny job. If you asked them to repaint your whole car...bet you they will magically be able to find a way to match that color.

^Yep. Or they told you that because they'd have to charge you ALOT and didn't want to alienate a potential customer. It probably costs them the same to custom mix a little or alot.
Depending on how quickly you want it, if your needing something refinished on the car anyway, have them mix up a little extra. Just be sure to have them leave out any catalyst so you can store it.
