Dude this is badass.. Looks very solid and rock hard like undestructible kinda way. I dont think any other body would work well with this color scheme like the fortune. well done. BTW love the wheels too.

Here`s how I first picked it up, found in at a dealership in texas. All stock and automatic. Being that it was my first car and I didnt know how to drive a manual it was perfect.
Just for giggles, how my backyard transformed. The matte black FB is the one pictured above. They grey one was my winter beater.
Came together pretty nicely. I sold the 2 fbs, picked up a new winter beater, sitting behind the rx7:
Then at the end of that summer, the motor popped and the wheels sold. Swapped in a series 8 from Japan2la and powdercoated lots of stuff. Also bought a v-mount kit from defined autoworks and swapped in a manual transmission while I was at it.

Nothing compared to what most of this community has going on but this is when I got it.. late 2010 I believe? didn't really drive it till summer 2011.
Before:
And here's after a few days and a few thousand dollars spend dicking around in the shop:
This summer i'd just like to improve the overall look of the engine bay.. get the greddy elbow, and have the pipes the SAME colour. And do some other little things like dual oil coolers, finish deleting the air pump etc.. And its gonna need a rebuild soon. So jealous of how clean you guys keep your engine bays.

The best part about mazdaspeed stuff is that the fitment is second to none since it's really not "aftermarket." I've had to deal with aftermarket bumpers before (not on this car) and it's just a pain. This one just fits up like nothing. I was lucky enough that this car came with a couple nice MS parts.

Okay, what side skirts are these? They do not appear to be 99 spec since the part in front of the rear wheel does not follow up to a point, it's just flat across. Also the bottom flow does not fit with the 99 spec design. They look like they could be polyurethane but who's to know for sure besides the owner...So, anyone? Info would be awesome, maybe some comparison shots? Thanks!
