how does one hard wire a radar
#2
Go to a parts store and get a tester that has a light bulb in it. Then go to your fuse box and poke it into each fuse until you find a suitable one that stays on all the time or just with the switch, depending on your preference. Then you just splice the wire into the one that came with the detector.

I have my concealed Bel unit hooked up to the radio power. This way it turns off and on with the ignition. Using a volt-ohm meter is useful in finding the radio or other suitable power wire which turns on and off with the ignition.

there aren't any empty fuses
where I could just plug a bladed end into the box, also where do you ground it. I look at the fuse box and wasn't positive there was a good ground spot.
