How does oil seep into the coolant system?

In a boinger you'd have to have worn valve guides and a blown head gasket. Oil in the water would be the least of your worries
On an FD I suppose it could intermix through the turbo bearings/seals? That's the only place I can think of where oil and water are in the same vicinity, but I am not sure if it's actually possible since I am not exactly sure how the water jackets are shaped within the turbo housings. I don't know how it could intermix in the motor itself without you having blown o-rings.

Maybe threw the dowel pin o-rings into the water chambers. That o-ring is a high pressure oil passage sealing point. Only other place i could think of besides turbo like DamonB said.

Are there newer hoses in your cooling system? If so, it could just be some reside coming off in the mix, nothing to worry terribly about, but might want to change the coolant soon. If it's truely oil, you probably have blown O-rings in the motor, I don't think mixing in the turbos would be very likely without some serious cracking.

Had my turbos taken off and checked a while back and they are fine.
Plugs burn in perfect color.
Always started 1st time I turn the key. Car runs like a champ.
