how do you test one way check valves

does anyone know how to test one way check valves to see if they're good or not

see if you can blow on one side and not the other

Blow in to one end and you can blow through , turn it around and blow into the other end and you can NOT blow through. That is good. Only your girl friend should be able to test this .

I connect a Mity-Vac up to it and pull vacuum (and leave it for 15 minutes or so). They can leak slowly, too.
